Juan J. Maya-Villamizar, MD. Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Juan J. Maya earned his degree in Internal Medicine from the Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio, one of the top three hospitals in the nation. While in training, he recognized the difficulties faced by patients with rheumatological diseases, so after graduating he obtained his subspecialty degree in Rheumatology at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic.
During his time with these institutions, he treated patients from all over the planet, participated in multiple research projects, and published his research in National and International Journals. In 2019, he moved to West Palm Beach, where he founded Rheumatology Center of Palm Beach, where he dedicates his time to improve the quality of life of his patients. He enjoys sports, reading novels, walking on the beach and spending time with his family and dog.
